While living in Nashville from 1995 to 2004, she gained valuable management experience as the Controller of DCI Supply Company, a division of Dialysis Clinic, Inc. Her experience also includes working for Deloitte & Touche LLP and Healthsource Tennessee, Inc.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Louisville and was a licensed CPA in Kentucky from 1999 to 2003. She is proud to join Seed Capital KY serving as the Director of Finance and looks forward to supporting the mission. oSha has been passionate about advocacy work in the nonprofit sector since her work in community development and organizing with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in her hometown in rural Kentucky. She has worked on various elements of community development and advocacy through her work with Inspire KY, Inspire US, the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association, Family Scholar House, the University of Louisville, the McConnell Center’s Civic Education for KY Teachers program, and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
During her time at the University of Louisville, oSha studied US-Sino Relations at Renmin University of China and completed a program at the International Center for Development Studies with a concentration in Human Rights at Universidad Latina in Costa Rica. oSha enjoys facilitating for the Louisville Metro Youth Advocates and working with the Louisville Awesome Foundation. oSha is excited to join the team at Seed Capital KY to focus on local community development with the West Louisville FoodPort project.
